12/09/2024 - Students exchange - to Esens / GermanyFrom September 12 to 18, 8 participants in 2nd, 1st and final year classes stayed in Esens in Lower Saxony; they were warmly received by the host families, their correspondents and our partner high school: the NIGE (Niedersächsisches Internatsgymnasium Esens) in Lower Saxony. Around the theme chosen with this partner, ecology and sustainable development, we were able to visit a very large organic farm and an educational center on green energy. The students also had to work in workshops on the themes of sustainable development and then present the fruit of their work in plenary session. The activities and discoveries of the region and German customs and traditions were numerous since the students were accommodated with their correspondents, in host families. Our participants will meet them again for a week, starting November 27, in Cambrai. It will also be an opportunity to discuss individual mobility because solid friendships have been created in Germany and some people actually want to carry out an exchange over a longer period.
